Nature Scavenger Hunts

Welcome to Knoch Knolls Park

or Sindt Woods, part of the Naperville Riverwalk.

These fun nature scavenger hunts have been designed for families, scouts, preschoolers and homeschoolers to enjoy with children approximately 4 - 10 years old.

• The trail around Knoch Knolls is about 1/2 mile.
• The trail at Sindt Woods is about 1/3 mile.

Each scavenger hunt will lead your group through a series of clues to find a destination, or stop. Once you've reached your destination, you will be asked to participate in an activity or answer a question. If there's a sign nearby the answer might be found on the sign. Other questions will test your knowledge of nature. When you've answered correctly, you can move on to the next clue. Some questions don't have a "right" or "wrong" answer. Information in parenthesis can be shared with your group if they are interested in learning more and/or to help you with their questions.
